In July 2016 Oana Bogdan took on the position of Vice-Minister of Culture (Secretary of State) in Romania, coordinating the field of cultural heritage and museums from the perspective of heritage as strategic resource until the Parliamentary elections at the end of 2016. Her aim is to help position Romania in the world as a country rich in natural, intangible and tangible cultural heritage and, at the same time, simplify the administration of the Ministry of Culture and reaffirm the economic contribution of culture.
